Today, we spotlight the "tough guy" of the CORAL family: the CORAL-IP-OW. IP67 waterproofing and IK8 impact resistance are no longer exclusive to the outer housing; they are built-in features of the lens itself-what you see is exactly what you get.
At the Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition (GILE) this past June, our Finnish team took CORAL's color-mixing capabilities to new heights, creating stunning art pieces by combining it with various product series. Yet, CORAL's ambition goes beyond mere aesthetics; it aims to redefine luminaire architecture through technology.

To achieve high-level protection, traditional outdoor luminaires often require bulky die-cast aluminum housings and complex sealing components. The result? A compact light engine encased in a bloated, heavy shell.
CORAL-IP-OW utilizes a 2K (dual-component) injection molding process (PMMA + PC/ABS) to mold the optical lens and mechanical housing into a single, unified unit.
Traditional Approach: Lens + silicone gasket + metal retaining ring + glass cover. This involves complex assembly, high risks of gasket degradation, and bulky dimensions.
CORAL Approach: The lens *is* the housing. No secondary encapsulation is required; installation is completed with just four screws. This fundamentally eliminates leakage risks and drastically simplifies the luminaire structure.
Thanks to integrated technology, the CORAL-IP-OW measures just 74×44×33 mm.
Compared to traditional solutions, it reduces luminaire volume by over 30%, completely eliminating the need for heavy "metal armor." This lightweight design not only lowers shipping and installation costs but also enables the creation of smaller, more discreetly installed luminaires.
