The series comprises two sub-models-SST-20-WxH and SST-20-WxS-tailored to different color rendering and color temperature requirements. The SST-20-WxH model focuses on high-CRI warm white applications, covering four common color temperatures (2700K to 4000K). With a CRI of up to 95, it faithfully reproduces the colors of illuminated objects, making it suitable for settings where color accuracy is paramount, such as commercial retail and residential accent lighting. At a typical drive current of 0.35A, the luminous flux is 93lm for the 2700K variant and reaches 114lm for the 4000K variant; when the drive current is increased to the maximum of 3A, the maximum luminous flux ranges from 484lm to 593lm across all color temperature options, with corresponding drive voltages between 2.73V and 3.10V.

The SST-20-WxS model is designed for high-efficacy cool-white applications, covering four color temperature options ranging from 5000K to 7500K. With a CRI of 70, it is better suited for scenarios such as outdoor floodlighting and industrial lighting. Its typical drive current is 1.5A, yielding a luminous flux of 540lm for the 5000K variant and up to 585lm for variants at 6500K and above; at the maximum drive current of 3A, the maximum luminous flux reaches 944lm across all color temperature options, with drive voltages ranging from 3.0V to 3.3V. Regarding reliability, the entire product series has undergone rigorous testing and complies with RoHS and REACH environmental standards, meeting regulatory requirements for major global markets and supporting mass production and export needs.

To fully leverage the light distribution advantages of the SST-20-W series' small light-emitting surface, Hengkun Optoelectronics has developed a 4-degree narrow-beam lens specifically for this light source. With a measured beam angle of 4.2 degrees, it highly concentrates light to achieve precise, long-range projection. The lens supports the use of various beam-shaping filters, allowing for flexible adjustment of the light spot shape-such as circular or elliptical-to meet diverse application requirements and achieve varied lighting effects without needing to replace the light source.

In terms of actual performance, the SST-20-W light source-when paired with this lens-produces a sharp, concentrated beam with a distinct hotspot edge and no significant stray light or spillover issues. It meets the rigorous light-control requirements of demanding applications such as museum displays and luxury retail counter lighting. This "light source plus optics" solution has already been implemented in commercial lighting products like magnetic track spotlights; its compact size and stable light distribution make it well-suited for the lighting design needs of modern commercial spaces and high-end residential interiors.
