Overview
BP2866XJ is an external OVP step-down LED constant current driver chip. The chip operates in the critical continuous mode of inductor current and is suitable for non-isolated buck LED constant current power supply with full range of input voltages of 85Vac-265Vac. Chip ROVP pins with Enable function for switch color tuning and induction lamp applications.
The BP2866XJ chip integrates a 500V power switch internally, adopts gate demagnetization detection technology and high-voltage JFET power supply technology, and eliminates the need for VCC capacitors and start-up resistors, making its peripheral devices simpler and saves peripheral costs and volume.
The BP2866X D chip adopts built-in high-precision current sampling circuit and constant current control technology to achieve high-precision LED constant current output and excellent line voltage adjustment rate. The chip operates in the critical mode of inductor current, and the output current does not change with the change of inductor and LED operating voltage, achieving excellent load adjustment rate.
BP2866XJ has multiple protection functions, including LED short circuit protection: chip power supply undervoltage protection, external OVP, chip temperature overheating regulation, etc.
The BP2866XJ is available in SOP7 package.
