Bridgelux -- Second-Generation F90™ COB Series Enters Mass Production

Bridgelux, a global leader in lighting technology and a pioneer in LED patented devices, recently announced that its second-generation F90™ COB series (F90™ COB Gen2) has officially entered mass production and is available for bulk shipment.
Building on the widespread acclaim of the first-generation F90™ COB product, the F90™ COB Gen2 features technological upgrades, further improving the color shift issue caused by operating temperature variations. This series exhibits stronger color stability within an operating temperature range of 25℃ to 85℃, and its luminous efficacy with a CRI90 index reaches or even exceeds that of traditional CRI80 products, helping lighting products upgrade to higher light quality and superior performance.
Key Upgrades and Features of F90™ COB Gen2:
1. Superior Color Point Stability: Color shift Δu'v' ≤ 0.004 within an operating temperature range of 25℃ to 85℃, a significant improvement over the previous generation's Δu'v' ≤ 0.006.
2. Industry-Leading CRI90 Luminous Efficacy: Utilizing innovative KSF red phosphor application technology, typical luminous efficacy reaches 185 lm/W (@3000K CRI90 65℃), exceeding 200 lm/W under reduced power drive. Meets North American DLC Platinum energy efficiency standards and EU ERP Class A/B lighting product requirements.
3. Diverse Product Line Configuration: Offers two color point versions located above (FH) and below (FD) the blackbody radiation curve trajectory, with light source emitting surface (LES) diameters ranging from 10 to 23 mm, meeting diverse optical design needs.
Taking the F90™ COB Gen2 FH version (@3000K CRI90 65°C) as an example, the product series is as follows:

- V13C FH 30G 3000lm@16W
- V15H FH 30G 4800lm@25W
- V18H FH 30G 6000lm@32W
- V22H FH 30G 8000lm@40W
4. Smooth Upgrade Experience
The mechanical dimensions and electrical characteristics are fully compatible with the first-generation products, allowing for direct replacement and helping customers quickly achieve a performance leap.
