In the field of outdoor tunnel lighting, the power supply is a core component. To meet the market's diverse demand for outdoor tunnel lighting power supplies in different power ranges, DONE has launched the MAL series of positive and negative logic dimming outdoor tunnel lighting power supplies. These new models include the DL-50H-38A/S-MAL, DL-75H-38A/S-MAL, and DL-200H-286A/S-MAL. With innovative technology and comprehensive protection design, these new products provide superior power solutions for outdoor road lighting and other applications.
1. New Product Launch
The three new power supply models in the MAL series are precisely designed to meet the power requirements of different outdoor tunnel lighting fixtures. They can flexibly adapt to a variety of application scenarios, from small tunnel auxiliary lighting to large tunnel main lighting, addressing the limited power and poor adaptability of traditional power supply models.
- DL-50H-38A/S-MAL (50W): Suitable for low-power applications such as tunnel entrance auxiliary lighting and tunnel interior emergency lighting. Its compact size and stable performance provide reliable power for localized lighting.
- DL-75H-38A/S-MAL (75W): Suitable for medium-power tunnel lighting fixtures, meeting the needs of conventional lighting in mid-tunnel sections. It balances power output and energy consumption, ensuring both lighting performance and energy savings.
- DL-200H-286A/S-MAL (200W): Designed for high-power applications such as tunnel main lighting and high-intensity lighting in long tunnels, it offers strong power output, ensuring stable operation of large-scale, high-brightness lighting.
2. Input Voltage Range
Supporting 100-277V AC input, it adapts to power grid voltage standards in most regions worldwide. Whether it's the common 220V power grid or the 110V or 277V power grids in some regions, it's reliably compatible, reducing power supply adaptation costs for cross-regional applications.
Intelligent Derating Protection: When the input voltage falls below 180V AC, the power supply automatically enters derating mode. By appropriately adjusting the output power, it prevents damage to power supply components caused by low-voltage overloads. This ensures that the luminaire maintains basic lighting functions even in low-voltage environments, enhancing system reliability under extreme power grid conditions.
3. Reduced Power Supply Size, Lowering Luminaire Costs
Compared to commercial outdoor tunnel lighting power supplies of the same power range, the MAL series power supply is up to 31.03% smaller. This provides greater installation flexibility, accommodating more internal luminaire installation space. This is especially true for thin, complex tunnel lighting fixtures. This eliminates the need to expand the luminaire to accommodate the power supply, reducing overall luminaire weight and the load-bearing pressure on the tunnel's overhead mounting bracket, thus reducing installation complexity and subsequent maintenance costs.
4. Dual Version Design
- Model A
The Model A power supply features an external potentiometer for current adjustment. Users can manually adjust the output current and, consequently, the luminaire's brightness by connecting an external potentiometer.
- Model S
The Model S offers a 3-in-1 dimming function: 1-10V dimming (with dimming off), resistor dimming, and PWM dimming. Compatible with mainstream dimming control methods, it meets diverse lighting needs.
Both the A and S models of the MAL series power supply feature dimming port protection, which can withstand short-term overvoltage surges of 300VDC or 230VAC.
