LTECH DALI NFC Driver Series 100,000-Level Deep Dimming And A Simplified SKU Strategy For Distributors

Zhuhai LTECH Technology, a DALI Alliance Board Member and A-share listed manufacturer, has released a new DALI NFC programmable driver series covering 12W/20W/30W/40W constant current models with DT6 and DT8 options. For LED component distributors, the product's core commercial value lies in a single driver platform that replaces multiple fixed-current SKUs while delivering 0.001% dimming depth and built-in luminaire data management.

1. NFC Programming Compresses Inventory SKUs; One Driver Covers 100–1050mA

The series allows output current adjustment in 1mA steps via mobile NFC APP, spanning 100–1050mA and output voltage as low as 2Vdc, accommodating luminaires from 0.2W to 40W. Industry data shows NFC-configurable driver platforms can replace multiple fixed-output part numbers, directly reducing distributor stock depth and wrong-model installation risk on site. LTECH positions this as a 60% SKU reduction compared with conventional DIP-switch current setting.

2. T-PWM® Deep Dimming at 0.001% with IEEE 1789 Flicker-Free Compliance

Dimming range extends from 100% down to 0.001% (100,000:1), driven by LTECH's proprietary T-PWM® technology. The driver meets IEEE 1789 high-frequency exemption requirements (CIE SVM PST LM ≤ 1.0, SVM ≤ 0.4), making it suitable for commercial and residential projects where visible flicker is a specification barrier. For distributors targeting premium dimming applications, this positions the series above standard DALI-2 drivers limited to 1% or 0.1% depth.

3. L-Data Management: DALI Part 251/252/253 as a Standard Feature

The series supports L-Data, implementing DALI Part 251 (luminaire data), Part 252 (energy reporting), and Part 253 (diagnostics and maintenance). This enables downstream asset tracking, point-of-use energy monitoring, and fault localization without additional gateways. LTECH has deployed comparable L-Data-enabled DALI drivers in the Hong Kong HSBC Group office project, covering over 7,000㎡ and approximately 1,250 drivers, where centralized energy statistics and diagnostics were required. For distributors, this data capability is increasingly specified in D4i-oriented commercial tenders; DALI-2 and D4i-compliant driver share is projected to rise from roughly 25% in 2025 to 50–60% by 2035.

4. PUSH DIM, Corridor Dimming, and CLO Compensation Reduce Retrofit Complexity

The driver integrates PUSH DIM via reset switch (short press on/off, long press dim/color tuning, double-click mode switching) and corridor dimming that accepts external radar or human-infrared sensors without a DALI master controller. CLO (constant lumen output) compensation is also built in, maintaining target brightness as the luminaire ages. These functions allow distributors to serve retrofit and public-area lighting projects where DALI infrastructure is absent or partial, broadening the addressable project base beyond fully networked DALI installations.

5. 100,000-Hour Lifespan, 5-Year Warranty, and Multi-Region Certification

The driver carries a normal-use lifespan rating of 100,000 hours and a 5-year warranty, using Rubycon capacitors and a V-0 flame-retardant PC housing from Covestro/Samsung SDI. Certifications include CCC, TUV, CB, CE, ENEC, UL, FCC, KC, EAC, RCM, BIS, PSE, and RoHS, covering major export markets across Europe, North America, Asia-Pacific, and India. For distributors managing cross-border inventory and tender compliance, the breadth of certification reduces documentation friction for project submissions.

Summary for Distributors

The LTECH DALI NFC series consolidates current configurability, 0.001% dimming depth, L-Data management, and PUSH DIM/corridor functions into a single programmable platform. From an inventory and tender-response standpoint, the combination of NFC SKU compression and DALI-2/D4i-aligned data capabilities addresses two structural pressures facing LED driver distributors: stock breadth and specification compliance.
