Mean Well Power Supply: All-New DALI-2 Smart Lighting

To meet market demands, Mean Well Power Supply has launched the SPWM-DA2Q series, a line of 4-channel constant voltage output LED drivers. These units comply with IEC 62386-101/102/207/209 standards and have obtained DALI-2 certification.

Available in power ratings of 75W, 150W, and 240W, and supporting output voltages of 12V, 24V, and 48V, these drivers are suitable for various LED lighting strips. They ensure stable color temperature and color consistency while maintaining uniform brightness, offering an optimal solution for smart building lighting systems.

1. The SPWM-DA2Q features a 4-channel constant voltage PWM output and can be configured for various control modes using built-in DIP switches.

These modes support DALI-2 DT6 or DT8 standards, making them suitable for RGBW color mixing, tunable white (color temperature adjustment), and dimming applications. Detailed settings are listed in the table below. The total output power across all channels must not exceed the product's rated power.

2. In accordance with DALI IEC 62386-209 regulations, color control is categorized into two types: Standard Color Control and Extended Color Control.

Standard mode offers high versatility, built-in power limiting, and stable operation. Extended mode allows the luminaire to utilize its full power capacity, delivering superior color and dynamic performance. Users can configure the SPWM-DA2Q series for either Standard or Extended color control via DALI commands to suit specific application scenarios.
