Female connector/socket, 2091 series, with push-button
The female connector/socket, item number 2091-1180, ensures flawless electrical installation. Rely on proven reliability when designing your device: PCB connectors offer a wide range of application possibilities. This female connector/socket requires a stripping length of 8 to 9 mm for the conductor connection. This product uses Push-in CAGE CLAMP® technology. Push-in CAGE CLAMP® is the maintenance-free universal connector for all conductor types with the added benefit of direct plugging: push-in. Rigid conductors as well as stranded conductors with ferrules can be plugged in directly without tools. Pretreatment of the conductors, e.g., by crimping on ferrules, is not required. The dimensions are (width x height x depth) (35 x 14 x 11.4) mm. Depending on the conductor type, this female connector/socket is suitable for conductor cross-sections from 0.2 mm² to 1.5 mm². The surface of the contacts is tin. This female connector/socket is actuated by a push-button. picoMAX® is the compact and innovative connector system. The contact force of a single Cr-Ni steel spring is used twice here – not only for connecting the conductor but also for contacting the connector pin. The PCB connector is soldered using THT. The conductor is inserted at a 90° angle to the surface.
