With more usable light, the LUXEON HL2X supports high-performance streetlights and outdoor area lighting fixtures.

The Lumileds LUXEON HL2X is ideal for street and motion lighting fixtures, offering the highest luminous flux and efficiency in an industry-standard package. Producing over 318 lumens at 700mA and 85°C, the LUXEON HL2X provides optical engineers with significantly more "field-available lumens." Lumileds focuses on beam angle, field of view, color over angle, and optical efficiency, providing engineers with unprecedented levels of more lumens and better light quality. "This brings us an outdoor luminaire with leading optical properties and excellent luminous efficacy," said Alvin Yeoh, Senior Product Marketing Manager at Lumileds.

LUXEON HL2X enables customers to meet DLC Premium V5.1 requirements, allowing luminaire manufacturers to obtain optimal electricity company subsidies while reducing energy consumption. The low thermal resistance substrate (<2.6°C/W) allows for smaller heatsinks and simplifies luminaire thermal design. Excellent color over angle uniformity – <40 pts – ensures high uniformity across applications.

LUXEON HL2X is housed in a standard 3.5mm x 3.5mm (3535) 3-pad package and is optically compatible with the popular LUXEON TX LED, enabling low-touch upgrades. LUXEON HL2X is readily available across a wide color temperature range from 2700K to 6500K and 70 CRI. A version of LUXEON HL2X for indoor applications is also available. 80 CRI and 90 CRI options.
