【New Product Release】Luminus Launches Gen 2 XBT-3535 Series

Luminus Devices launches the new Gen 2 XBT-3535 product, adding another breakthrough product to its extensive UV LED product range. The product series has a variety of wavelength options including 265 nm, 275 nm, 285 nm, 308 nm and 340 nm, consolidating Luminus' position as one of the most comprehensive product portfolios in the industry.

The Gen 2 XBT-3535 series perfectly complements Luminus' existing UV product portfolio (365 nm - 415 nm). In a major expansion of the UVC wavelength range, the XBT-3535 series now adds a 265 nm wavelength in addition to the previous 275 nm wavelength, specifically for air, water and surface disinfection applications. Also available is a lower power, more cost-effective "mini" version (wavelength 275 nm) with an output power of 20 mW at 150 mA.

In the UVB range, the XBT-3535 series is available in two options: 285 nm and 308 nm. Designed for horticultural and analytical instruments, the 285 nm model offers over 85 mW at 500 mA. On the other hand, the XBT-3535 Mini (308 nm) offers a cost-effective solution for phototherapy and horticulture, with an output power of over 30 mW at 150 mA.

Targeting medical applications, the 340 nm XBT-3535 features a powerful 90 mW output power at 500 mA. The 265 nm, 275 nm, and 285 nm XBT-3535 are currently in production and shipping; the 308 nm and 340 nm XBT-3535 are also being ordered with production expected in Q1 2024.
