Featuring WAGO's PUSH WIRE® spring-clamp technology-constructed with tin-plated copper alloy-the 873 Series utilizes the inherent rigidity of the conductor to deform the internal spring, which then securely clamps the wire in place. Solid conductors and tinned stranded conductors can be inserted directly; they are easily removed by simply twisting and pulling.

The 873 series embodies a compact design philosophy. Featuring a single-channel structure, the 2-pole version measures just 13 × 10 × 40 mm. Both 2-pole and 3-pole variants can fit through a 1/2-inch (approx. 22 mm) knockout-making them ideal for powering lighting ballasts and ensuring compliance with North American standards for recessed luminaires.
