BP2878

Overview
BP2878 is a non-isolated step-down type suitable for the full range of input voltages of 85Vac-265Vac, and supports PWM dimming function. The PWM dimming depth can reach less than 1%, which can greatly optimize the dimming linearity and dimming consistency. It is specially designed for applications in the field of PWM dimming without flash LED lighting. BP2878 is suitable for Buck buck circuits, driving external MOSFETs through source drive to achieve constant current output. The inductor current operates in critical continuous mode (BCM), so the power diode is turned off zero current and there is no reverse recovery problem. The BP2878 adopts a quasi-resonant mode to ensure that the MOSFET is turned on at the voltage valley, helping to achieve higher conversion efficiency while suppressing electromagnetic interference (EMI).

The BP2878 chip has a high-precision current sampling circuit, and it also uses patented constant current control technology to achieve high-precision LED constant current output and excellent line voltage adjustment rate. The chip's operating current is extremely low and there are very few peripheral devices, which greatly saves system cost and volume.
