BP2879

Overview
The BP2879 is a non-isolated low-PF dimmable LED driver controller suitable for Buck circuits. It supports PWM and analog dimming signals. It simulates dimming throughout the process, allowing high-precision, strobe-free lighting. The BP2879-controlled Buck circuit operates in the critical continuous and quasi-resonant mode of inductor current, thereby achieving higher conversion efficiency and lower electromagnetic interference (EMI) and improving transformer utilization. BP2879 adopts advanced constant current algorithms to achieve excellent linear and load adjustment rates.

BP2879 provides rich protection functions to ensure the reliability of power supply design.

The BP2879 is packaged in SOP-8.
